Welcoming New Nursery at Matchborough First School

I welcomed the opening of a new high-quality, school-based nursery at Matchborough First School, delivered this summer thanks to government investment in early years childcare. Speaking in Parliament, I highlighted how unused classrooms in Redditch have been transformed into nursery provision, giving families affordable childcare and ensuring children get the best possible start in life. This is practical action that will change lives for the better. Minister for Children and Families, Stephen Morgan, praised Redditch’s progress and confirmed the £45 million programme will now expand nationwide.
