Welcoming £3 Million Investment in Alexandra Hospital

I welcomed a £3 million investment to deliver urgent fire safety upgrades at the Alexandra Hospital. The funding forms part of the Government’s £1.2 billion national programme to modernise schools and hospitals, with over 400 NHS sites receiving support.

Works will begin this summer and continue into 2025–26, helping prevent avoidable disruptions and making the site safer for patients, staff and visitors.

After years of underinvestment, this is a crucial step towards rebuilding our NHS and delivering the safe, modern healthcare Redditch and the Villages deserve.
