Praising Uniform Bank Initiative

I commended local volunteers following the launch of Redditch Uniform Bank at Kingfisher Centre. Organised by Councillor Sharon Harvey, volunteers and Inspire Support Services, the initiative transformed an empty Farmfoods unit into a community popup, providing hundreds of free donated school items including blazers and PE kits to families. I highlighted how school uniform costs pressure working families.

This is what solidarity looks like: working-class communities coming together so no child goes without.
