Welcomeing Sharp Fall in Local NHS Waiting Lists

I welcomed new NHS data showing waiting lists at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals— including the Alexandra Hospital—have fallen by over 6,000 since this Government took office.

Speaking in the Commons, I praised local NHS staff and said the figures marked a turning point. Together, we can be the generation that takes the NHS from the worst crisis in its history to the NHS that people deserve.

Health Secretary Wes Streeting agreed, thanking Redditch voters for helping deliver real progress. I reaffirmed my commitment to championing further improvements for patients across Redditch and the Villages.
