I recently visited Trimite Global Coatings in Redditch to hear about the company’s ambitious growth plans and global export success. Meeting with CEO Nigel Smith and representatives from the British Coatings Federation, I learned how Trimite’s high-quality coatings—produced in a compact local facility—are used across industries, from Challenger tanks to medical devices. The visit also highlighted the regulatory challenges facing manufacturers. I pledged to support efforts to reduce these burdens and promote innovation.
