Visiting Sholfins Swim School to Champion School Swimming and SEN Provision

I visited Sholfins Swim School at Woodrow First School to highlight the importance of swimming for all children, especially those with special educational needs. I praised the school’s work but stressed that a lack of facilities and investment is holding back local provision. I committed to pushing for better support so no child misses out on learning this life-saving skill. I thanked Sholfins staff for their dedication and encouraged greater investment in school swimming to ensure every child in Redditch has the opportunity to learn.
