Supporting Sustainable Fashion at Redditch Clothing Swap

I joined sustainable fashion advocate Katie Kendrick and local residents at a clothing swap event at Windmill Community Centre.

The swap shop welcomed 48 participants who exchanged 256 clothing items and 25 accessories—promoting sustainability, tackling textile waste and helping people refresh their wardrobes at no cost.

It was fantastic to see our community come together to support greener choices and reduce waste. I’m proud to back events like this that combine climate action with community connection.

Following its success, further clothing swap events are already being planned for Redditch and the Villages.
