Securing Full Investigation into Redditch Rail Disruptions

I secured a formal commitment from Network Rail to investigate the recent wave of cancellations and delays on the Redditch line, caused by repeated points failures. Following an urgent meeting with Denise Wetton, Network Rail’s Central Route Director, I raised complaints from commuters, students and families about the impact of weeks of disruption.

Network Rail will now identify the root causes and develop long-term solutions. I also pressed for Redditch to benefit from the Midlands Rail Hub, which promises infrastructure upgrades and more reliable services. I pledged to keep fighting for dependable rail transport for local people.
