Securing £1.3 Million to Upgrade Local GP Surgeries

I secured £1.3 million in Government funding to expand and modernise three local GP surgeries—Crabbs Cross, Elgar House and The Bridge.

Following a visit to Crabbs Cross Surgery with Practice Manager Jodie Darrock, I saw firsthand the pressure on staff working in cramped conditions.

The investment will deliver new consulting rooms, boost appointment capacity and cut waiting times—helping patients access quicker diagnoses and treatment.

This is the biggest investment in our local GP services for years. It’s real change that will deliver better care for Redditch residents.
