Secureing Future of Harvington Bus Service

I secured firm assurances from Stagecoach Midlands that the number 28 bus service through Harvington and neighbouring villages will be protected.

Following concerns raised at a recent street surgery, I met with Stagecoach’s Managing and Commercial Directors at my constituency office. The company confirmed there are no plans to cut or reduce the service, which remains commercially viable and has seen over 8,500 recent passenger journeys.

Stagecoach acknowledged recent reliability issues and pledged improvements, while also expressing interest in a potential night bus with local authority backing.

I will continue fighting for reliable, accessible rural transport.
