Opening Bangla Heritage Bazaar

I officially opened Redditch’s first Great Bangla Heritage Bazaar at Redditch Library. Organised by the Bangladeshi Community Group and Redditch Library, the vibrant event transformed the library into a traditional bazaar featuring cultural exhibitions, artwork, music and storytelling to a packed room. It marked the culmination of a 12-month Public Health wellbeing programme designed to boost community cohesion.

Redditch is at its best when people from every background feel valued, included and proud to share their heritage.
