Meeting Local Sector Leaders to Discuss Devolution and Community Funding

I recently joined representatives from Bromsgrove and Redditch Network (BARN), Age UK, Citizens Advice and Young Solutions Worcestershire to discuss the impact of devolution proposals on North Worcestershire’s voluntary and community sector. The meeting explored concerns around funding, local representation and how future arrangements can best reflect community needs. I reaffirmed my commitment to working closely with local organisations to ensure services remain accessible, responsive and sustainably funded. I pledged to continue championing the sector’s voice as devolution plans develop across the region.
