Meeting Allergy UK to Strengthen Allergy Advocacy

I met with Allergy UK to discuss ways to improve support for people affected by allergies and enhance allergy services across the NHS. I praised the charity’s advocacy and reaffirmed my commitment to working with Allergy UK and colleagues in Parliament to ensure the allergic community receives greater recognition and support. The meeting covered proposals to improve national standards for allergy diagnosis and care, as well as future collaboration on food labelling and allergy education. I highlighted the importance of raising awareness and improving clinical pathways so every patient can access timely, effective care.
