Joining Cross-Party Call for Action on Fujitsu’s Role in Horizon Scandal

I joined over 75 cross-party parliamentarians in urging the Government to review Fujitsu’s eligibility for public contracts following its central role in the Post Office Horizon scandal. Hundreds of innocent sub-postmasters were wrongly prosecuted between 1999 and 2015, leaving families devastated and businesses destroyed, while Fujitsu continues to secure government contracts worth billions.

The Horizon scandal destroyed lives here in Redditch and across the UK. Accountability must come before profit. No company with such systemic failings should be handed new taxpayer-funded contracts until justice is delivered.
