Delivering New School-Based Nursery for Redditch Families

I welcomed the announcement that Matchborough First School Academy will receive funding for a new school-based nursery, as part of the Government’s commitment to expanding childcare access. This is one of 300 schools nationally set to benefit, creating 6,000 new childcare places.

From September, working parents will be eligible for 30 hours of government-funded childcare, saving families up to £7,500 a year. This is fantastic news for Redditch families. The Government is delivering on its promise to give every child the best start in life while supporting parents with high-quality, affordable childcare.
