COMMEMORATING KRISTALLNACHT WITH THE HOLOCAUST EDUCATIONAL TRUST

I recently attended a solemn event in Parliament to mark the anniversary of Kristallnacht, hosted by the Holocaust Educational Trust. The event featured Holocaust survivor Hedi Argent MBE, who shared her powerful memories of this dark chapter in history, underscoring the horrors of antisemitism. This commemoration reminds us of the need to stand united against bigotry and racial hatred. I praise the Trust’s impactful work, including its Lessons from Auschwitz Project and new Testimony 360 program, which are inspiring the next generation to learn from history and uphold tolerance and understanding in our communities.
