I spoke in Parliament to champion the vital work of Touchstones child bereavement services. Paying tribute to founder Vicki Quarton and her team, I praised the life-changing support they provide to children and young people coping with the loss of a loved one, including those affected by domestic violence. I urged the Government to give greater backing to small, community-based organisations like Touchstones that deliver lifeline services. Responding, Leader of the House Lucy Powell MP echoed my praise. I pledged to keep campaigning for stronger bereavement support nationwide.
