Championing Community and Wellbeing at YMCA Worcestershire Olympics

I joined service users, staff and volunteers at the YMCA Worcestershire Olympics this weekend, proudly serving as the official starter for the 100m Final at Abbey Stadium.

Held on one of the hottest days of the year, the event brought together people of all ages and abilities to celebrate sport, teamwork and community spirit.

The enthusiasm and energy shown by everyone was truly inspiring. The YMCA plays a vital role in improving health, wellbeing and confidence in Redditch.

I congratulated Romeo, winner of the 100m Final and praised all participants for making the day such a success.
