Celebrating Mayor Juma Begum’s Civic Dinner Success

I congratulated the Mayor of Redditch, Cllr Juma Begum, on hosting a successful Mayoral Civic Dinner at the Abbey Hotel. The evening brought together residents, community leaders and supporters to mark the end of Cllr Begum’s mayoral year and raised over £1,400 for Primrose Hospice and Disability Support Project. I praised the Mayor’s service and the generosity of all who contributed. The dinner marked one of Cllr Begum’s final events before Cllr Joanna Kane takes over as Mayor. I wish her every success in the year ahead.
