CELEBRATING LOCAL BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AT SKILLS WEST MIDLANDS EVENT

I attended the Skills West Midlands and Warwickshire anniversary event on March 7th in Birmingham. This prestigious gathering was attended by Baroness Jacqui Smith and West Midlands Mayor Richard Parker. I am delighted that Thorlux Lighting, a Redditch-based business, was nominated for an award recognising their contributions to youth development and skills training. The event highlighted the importance of skills development for economic prosperity and celebrates local businesses like Thorlux that are making a difference. I look forward to supporting this local business and contributing to the discussion on future skills development in our region.
