Calling for Stronger Action Against Image-Based Crimes

In Parliament, I raised concerns over the rising issue of image-based crimes, especially the non-consensual sharing of intimate images. I highlighted the alarming prevalence of these offences, particularly among young men.

We must be stronger in challenging this abuse and ensure victims are protected, while holding perpetrators accountable.

I emphasised the need for robust legal protections and stronger measures to combat these harmful digital crimes. I remain committed to advocating for effective legislation to safeguard individuals and address the growing threat of image-based sexual abuse.
