Calling for actions, not words to give every child the best start

I asked the Secretary of State if they will reverse the decisions of the last government and learn from the legacy of Sure Start centres to ensure children in areas like Redditch and the Villages are not left behind.

The Labour Government’s plan includes expanding early years support, investing in new and enhanced “Best Start” Family Hubs and ensuring every family has access to help — regardless of where they live, and I am pleased to hear that funding has been announced for Worcestershire.
