Backing Urgent Call for Targeted Prostate Cancer Screening

I joined a national campaign calling for a targeted prostate cancer screening programme for men at highest risk, following meetings with Prostate Cancer UK and Prostate Cancer Research. I highlighted that prostate cancer is England’s most common cancer but lacks a national screening programme, despite being preventable and treatable when caught early. I support updating NHS guidance, rolling out the online Risk Checker and funding awareness campaigns. I pledged to work with the Government and charities to ensure fairer access and earlier detection, stressing that targeted screening could save lives and benefit families in Redditch and across the UK.
