Backing Calls for Better, Safer Maternity Services

I attended a Parliamentary drop-in event on improving maternity services as part of the NHS 10-Year Health Plan, hosted by Josh Fenton-Glynn MP. The event brought together leading organisations, including Sands, NCT, and the Royal College of Midwives, to discuss reducing preventable baby deaths and improving support for new mothers and families.

With a baby born in the UK every 56 seconds, I emphasised the urgent need to prioritise maternity care in future NHS plans. I remain committed to advocating for high-quality, safe maternity services in Redditch and across England.
