Attending Civic Mass for New Redditch Mayor Joanna Kane

I joined residents and community leaders at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Friday evening to celebrate the Civic Mass marking the start of Councillor Joanna Kane’s mayoral term.

It was an honour to attend such a warm and welcoming service. The fantastic turnout showed the strength of community spirit in Redditch.

I also praised the Mayor’s choice of Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre as her mayoral charity, highlighting its vital role supporting local families. I congratulated Mayor Kane and wished her every success for the year ahead.
