Advocating for Stronger Action on Violence Against Women and Girls

I reiterate my commitment to tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), highlighting the vital work of Redditch’s Sandycroft Centre in supporting survivors. Speaking in Parliament, I called on Ministers to address the harmful impact of online influencers on young people’s understanding of consent and relationships.

I reaffirm Labour’s pledge to halve VAWG within a decade, stressing the need for stronger protections and services for survivors. I remain dedicated to creating a safer, more supportive environment for women and girls in Redditch and the Villages and will continue advocating for lasting change in tackling gender-based violence.
