ADVOCATING FOR IMPROVED STROKE REHABILITATION SERVICES

I highlighted the urgent need for enhanced stroke rehabilitation services, underscoring the challenges stroke survivors face with long waiting times for recovery support. While praising healthcare professionals for their critical work in saving lives, I emphasised that post-stroke rehabilitation—helping survivors regain independence, confidence, and rebuild relationships—is equally essential.

Too many stroke survivors struggle to resume their lives due to delays in support. We must reduce these waits to ensure all stroke patients receive the comprehensive care they need.

I remain committed to strengthening rehabilitation services for the community.
