Advocating for Global Ocean Treaty at Greenpeace Event

I recently attended Greenpeace's launch of their report Sargasso: A Sea of Opportunity for Ocean Protection, which emphasized the importance of protecting the Sargasso Sea and global oceans. As a strong advocate for environmental conservation, I expressed my commitment to ensuring the UK ratifies the Global Ocean Treaty by the UN Ocean Conference in June 2025. I highlighted the urgent need for international cooperation in safeguarding marine ecosystems and called on the government to prioritize this vital legislation. I am dedicated to protecting the planet's oceans and will continue to push for decisive action in Parliament.
