Joining Cross-Party Call for Justice for Victims of DES Pregnancy Drug

I joined 36 cross-party colleagues in urging urgent Government action over the Diethylstilbestrol (DES) scandal. Prescribed to thousands of pregnant women between the 1940s and 1970s, DES has since been linked to cancer, infertility and serious reproductive health complications.

The letter to the Health Secretary calls for a formal apology, NHS awareness campaigns, staff training and dedicated support for affected families.

Families in Redditch have suffered in silence for too long. Their voices must be heard, their suffering recognised and justice delivered.
