Hosting Cross-Party SEND Roundtable to Tackle Worcestershire Crisis

I recently hosted a cross-party roundtable in Parliament to address ongoing failures in Worcestershire’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) services. The meeting followed a damning Ofsted and CQC report highlighting “widespread and systemic failings” in support for local children and families. Parent-carers from SEND National Crisis Worcestershire and North Worcestershire Autism Parents Support Group shared powerful testimony with five Worcestershire MPs.

Families deserve better. We must build a SEND system that works for every child—not one that lets them down time and again.
