Touring the new venue with owner Toby Wassell, I discussed challenges facing local health clubs, including business rates reform and the Gym Owner’s Forum ‘Fair Rates for Fitness’ campaign. I emphasised how independent gyms foster active lifestyles and ease NHS pressure through preventative healthcare.
