I praised local volunteers after joining hundreds of residents at the Church Hill Big Local Community Fun Day over the weekend. The event brought families together for fairground rides, inflatables, craft stalls and food. Attendees enjoyed animal sessions with ponies and alpacas, alongside appearances from Peter Rabbit, Bluey and Paw Patrol’s Skye. Bloore thanked organisers for supporting the community.
I welcomed members of 216 (Redditch) Squadron Air Training Corps to Parliament for a guided tour. Organised with Civil Instructor Marc Probert, the visit gave cadets a chance to explore Westminster Hall and the Parliamentary Estate.
