I welcomed Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust’s decision to return previously sold-off land at Alexandra Hospital to NHS use, securing vital space for future healthcare expansion. During a visit to the site, I met senior Trust leaders to discuss capacity pressures and long-term planning. I visited St George’s C of E First School and Nursery to meet pupils, parents and staff and discuss local issues, including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision. The visit began with an informal coffee morning where families shared experiences of accessing specialist support alongside representatives from Worcestershire Parent Carer Forum.
