Visiting Autumn Sunshine Club in Redditch

I praised the Autumn Sunshine Club after visiting their monthly coffee morning at Redditch Library. Founded in 2024 by local volunteer Julie Cacciottolo, the club tackles loneliness among over-60s through social activities. My office supported the group on governance and fundraising as it transitions to a Community Interest Company.

Loneliness among older residents is a serious challenge. The club provides vital connection, and I support their plans.

I praised Julie and her volunteers and encouraged local seniors to join the coffee mornings.
