Praising Summer Self-Defence and Community Support Sessions at Woodrow

I have praised the free summer self-defence and community support sessions at Woodrow Community Centre, led by local campaigner Peter Martin. Running through late August, the weekly drop-ins and family classes offer practical training, safety advice and a welcoming space for residents to build confidence and connect.

These sessions are a shining example of community spirit. They empower residents, strengthen local ties and help people feel safer. My thanks to Peter, local councillors and West Mercia Police for this valuable initiative.
