Chris Bloore MP Welcomes £100,000 Nursery and SEND Investment at Matchborough First School

I praised Matchborough First School Academy following the announcement of over £100,000 in government funding to expand nursery places and improve SEND provision. One of the first schools in the country to benefit from the new school-based nursery programme, the investment will create up to 20 early years places and transform underused space into a high-quality setting.

During my visit to the school, I met staff, governors and pupils, and I pledged to continue to support inclusive, high-quality early years education across Redditch and the Villages.
