Celebrating Redditch Pride and Reaffirming Commitment to Equality

I joined local residents, community groups and businesses at this year’s Redditch Pride, celebrating a vibrant day of unity, inclusion and LGBTQ+ pride. With flags flying, samba music playing and people lining the streets, the event highlighted the best of Redditch’s community spirit.

I praised the organisers for a fantastic turnout. There is so much more that unites us than divides us.

Following the event, I condemned a small number of homophobic online comments, reaffirming my commitment to standing up to hate and championing equality for everyone in Redditch and the Villages.
