I joined pupils, parents, staff and local civic leaders—including Mayor of Redditch (Cllr Joanna Kane) and Cllr Juliet Barker Smith—at Woodrow First School’s end-of-term picnic to celebrate the close of the school year.
The joyful community event featured games, a lively conga and a visit from a Mr Whippy ice cream van, to the delight of the children.
I praised Headteacher Richard Kieran and his team for creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where children thrive. I wish Year 4 pupils success as they move on—and all families a restful and happy summer holiday.
