QUESTION ON WATER INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT

On Thursday, I will be raising a question to Secretary of State Steve Reed MP in the House of Commons. For decades, water companies in England have underinvested in infrastructure while distributing billions in shareholder profits. The government's Water (Special Measures) Bill is a strong first step in addressing these failures, holding companies accountable, and starting to reverse the environmental damage caused. It's critical that any increase in water bills is directed toward building a fit-for-purpose water network.
